Alan Christianson, NMD

Alan Christianson, NMD is a Phoenix, Arizona-based Naturopathic Endocrinologist (FABNE) who focuses on the treatment of chronic thyroid disease.
Dr. Christianson was a member of the premier class of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) graduating in 1996. He has been actively practicing in Scottsdale since 1996 and is the founding physician behind Integrative Health.
He is a New York Times bestselling author whose titles include The Metabolism Reset Diet, The Adrenal Reset Diet, and the forthcoming Thyroid Reset Diet.
Brittany Henderson, MD, ECNU

Dr Henderson is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, with advanced training in thyroid disorders, including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Graves’ Disease, thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, thyroid ultrasound/biopsy, ethanol ablation, and advanced minimally invasive techniques.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she graduated in the top 10% of at her class at Northeastern Ohio Medical University, where she received the honor of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). She completed her endocrinology fellowship training under a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research-training grant at Duke University Medical Center. She then served as Medical Director for the Thyroid and Endocrine Tumor Board at Duke University Medical Center (2013-2015) and as Clinical Director for the Thyroid and Endocrine Neoplasia Clinic at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center (2015-2018).

Nicole is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and certified personal trainer specializing in the management of thyroid conditions. She received a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MS from New York University. As a thyroid cancer survivor, Anziani’s passion and mission is to make nutrition care information for thyroid conditions easily accessible to practitioners and patients. She is the author of The Health Professional’s Guide to Nutrition Management of Thyroid Disease; the first peer-reviewed, American Thyroid Association physician-reviewed, and evidence-based practice guidebook to instruct dietitians and allied healthcare professionals on medical nutrition therapy for thyroid disease, published by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2020. Dr. Gary Clayman is one of the most experienced thyroid surgeons and arguably the most experienced thyroid cancer surgeon in the world. Dr. Clayman is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Head and Neck Society. For 27 years, Dr. Clayman was the leading head and neck thyroid surgeon at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson where he served as the Distinguished Chair of Head and Neck Surgery and the Chief of Head and Neck Endocrine Surgery since 2003. Dr. Clayman remains a lifelong Professor Emeritus at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson for his career contributions to the field of Thyroid Surgery. Dr. Clayman has limited his practice to thyroid and thyroid cancer surgery for more than 23 years.

Leila Turner, NMD

Dr. Turner is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), grew up in Northern California, surrounded by alternative medicine and Redwood trees. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a Bachelor’s in Biology and Psychology. In 2007, she co-founded the Naturopathic Medical Student Association. Upon graduating from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in 2007, she was awarded the prestigious SCNM Student Leadership Award and the Daphne Blayden Award in recognition of academic excellence, compassion, and perseverance.
